Sherrie has an eclectic therapeutic approach and will pull from several therapy modalities to support you in reaching your goals. She provides individual and couples therapy specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, self esteem and relationship concerns.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Unlike couples, family, or group therapy, individual therapy completely focuses on you. This allows for a deeper understanding of the concerns and time for developing coping strategies to support you in handling difficult situations.

Individual therapy begins with assessment and treatment planning which may be completed over several sessions. The initial session is 60 minutes and following sessions will range between 45 - 53 minutes.

Couples Therapy

Couples often seek therapy to achieve better communication, increase trust, and enhance intimacy, among other reasons. The objective of couples therapy is to collaborate with the couple to develop a viable plan to address concerns that have surfaced and impacted the foundation of the relationship.

Couples therapy begins with 4 sessions to assess couple concerns and develop a plan of treatment. The initial session is a joint session, followed by two individual sessions (one with each client), and the fourth session is joint to discuss strengths and areas of improvement. Moving forward, all sessions are joint. Each couples session is 50 minutes.
